vIRL Print Editions? Huh?

Imagine instead of your sister sending you a physical book via Amazon for your birthday, that she sent you a virtual in real life NFT book token. That will mean that the physical object - the book - exists somewhere, but you don’t need to take delivery of it.

You accept the gift, and can redeem it or leave it at the vIRL book store and sell it to someone else and use the funds to buy another physical book and get that delivered.

Virtual physical books.

Is this for real? Yes, the idea has been around for 6 months, at least, for other physical objects. Read the details here.

I hope Amazon adopts it. It would save a lot of unwanted books getting delivered!
