#PublishingReinvented 80 - Reader Growth Hacking Suggestion #1
Growth Hacking
The concept of growth hacking is well understood in the business world. It can also be applied to increasing our reader base.
So what is the first growth hack suggestion?
Ask each person on your email list to send your email to one other person who may be interested in your book.
Asking people to send an email to lots of people is usually too much to expect, but if you ask people to forward an email - your Holiday Greetings and Special Offer email for instance - and in the middle ask them to also forward the email to just one other person, your chance of getting someone to do so rises dramatically.
Hacking is about simple steps, often overlooked.
This is the first in a series of Reader Growth Hacking ideas that will appear in your inbox each Monday.
What else?
Please, to prove this works, forward this email to any one author you know who might be interested in all this.
And thank you!
