#PublishingReinvented 79 - Accelerated Content Creation, But How?
Making Content Faster
Many authors, both fiction and non fiction, are creating content to help their books sell. Access to accelerated content creation services to help this process is something to consider.
What content are authors creating now?
Text - in email, blog posts, Tweets, LinkedIn, TikTok and Facebook etc. Usually posts talking in some way about our amazing books in a captivating way, with #tags. Most authors can conjure up text, but doing it consistently can be a challenge. One method of doing this it to turn each text piece into multiples by splitting it apart in some way.
Images - for use in email, blog posts, Tweets, LinkedIn, TikTok and Facebook etc. We can take pictures, draw and manipulate all these images online to add vibrancy to our posts.
Video - for use in email, blog posts, Tweets, LinkedIn, TikTok and Facebook etc. This is a challenging content form. Each site has a different style. Super short is relevant for TikTok, typically longer for Facebook. Practice is the key here.
So what about making it all faster - accelerating?
Here are some ideas:
Ghost writers can create text for you. There are services online at sites such Upwork for this.
Many images can be sourced free from sites such as Pixabay and manipulated on sites such as Canva. Sites such as 99Designs will provide access to graphic designers.
Animoto is a good site for video creation and a Canva account can help too. If you have something to start with they can turn it into amazing, with audio attached too. Storyblocks is a site you can buy video content from.
Why bother?
Content will help you stand out.
You can build an appeal to readers.
You can express another aspect of your creativity.
Your imagination is the only limit. But please, consider an overall content plan, your content style and the way that the content will link to your book or books. More on that next week.
