FYI - I write women's psychological mysteries and had to opportunity of having one of my novels turned into an audio book created by AI. Unfortunately, while the narrator I selected was pleasant to listen to, it did not carry the emotion required for reading a mystery. Therefore, I would not trust AI to produce an ad for one of my novels.
What a fun opportunity for something that could be so helpful! The link to my book A Spoonful of Gunpowder (steampunk meets Mary Poppins reimagined in the most delightful way) is below.
In response to Laurence's request above, here is the link to my third book Slainte! The Strawberry Beds Job. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BQ9KYDYW . In answer to Laurence's request for what book will sell best in June I have picked Gerry Kilby's thriller Chain Reaction. here is the link https://geraldmkilby.com/product/chain-reaction/.
I think AI is great for getting promotional copy and to generate ideas. I am just a little slow to dive into the AL pool head first! Blind Smith sounds so exciting and the description really pulls in the reader.
I think "Bright Ideas About Sun Power - Maria Telkes" https://www.amazon.com/Bright-Ideas-About-Sun-Power/dp/0998458317 could be a top seller. This non-fiction picture book about Maria Telkes, the scientist who invented a fully solar-powered house in the 1940s in the US! It's from my kid's picture book series about inventors.
Hi, thanks very much for your continued helpful info. I ‘reluctantly’ started to look at AI for my proposed fictional projects and came to the conclusion that used selectively it was a great tool for embellishing descriptions especially atmospheric ambience and emotional states. Useful as I’ve never published any fiction. My published book is on emotionally intelligent leadership and human potential. https://amzn.eu/d/0Zid9nu
A Spoonful of Gunpowder looks and sounds intriguing - I think it would be a great choice for the $100 ad budget. My book (historical fantasy adventure), The Raven’s Call is a tale of two women surviving in the harsh environment of the steppes amid the horse lord tribes of Scythia. https://www.amazon.com/Ravens-Call-Emma-C-Buenen-ebook/dp/B0DWCQC1XS
Reinventing Hannah is my first novel and the only one that's not a mystery, but is also closest to my heart (and resonates very well with readers). It was written before AI was a thing but ChatGPT gave me suggestions to help revise my cover and make it more genre appropriate (Contemporary YA).
It is coming off KU today and then I plan to go wide with it.
My books sell, but I've always wondered if Facebook Ads would work in my niche. I doubt it. I write Sapphic romance, and I can't see Facebook having the info that Amazon does on reader behavior in such a small space. My new one is not doing bad for my niche (as an author who has been published under a year), but I wish there were more tools that worked to grow my business available that worked. The reality is, THEY DON'T. Not in my niche.
Wow you're doing great! I love your cover and blurb. There are groups on FB for Sapphic Romance so I wonder if ads would work better for you than you expect. Anyway, your book has my vote :)

I have found that AI can write much better copy for my books than I can, because I'm describing the book I wrote, while AI can describe the book a reader wants to read. Claude wrote the blurb for this book: https://www.amazon.com/Bless-Our-Sleep-Neil-Plakcy-ebook/dp/B0DJPYCZ6L/

Your book 'The Blind Smith' looks gripping and fresh.
I think that The Blind Smith will do best in May with a $100 ad budget.

Great blurb-- but I don't get much sense of who Anna-Marie is before things start happening to her.
Thank you, that is really helpful feedback! I will review and try to make some edits.
A clever idea! The link to 'Bards Sing of Love and War' is here: https://www.amazon.com/Bards-Sing-Love-Arianwen-Nunn-ebook/dp/B0D7Q7P1KL

This looks good, but I would run ads for book one if selected.
Keeping this open for another week to get more responses. We have some good ones already...please share this post with others!

I write faith based books. I like the idea of using AL to produce promotional text and descriptions. It is great at burbs! The Blind Smith is the book I want to mention. The burb really pulls in the reader. https://www.amazon.com/Destination-Education-See-Possibilities-Transformative-ebook/dp/B0DPNPC6FS

This one could win the Ads prize - intrigued by the title and no of reviews!
