#PublishingReinvented 120 - A Mailmerge inside Gmail Recommendation + Do You Need A Publishing Company name?
I use this email merge machine every day
We collect email addresses using Google and other forms. This means we end up with lots of email addresses. We use ActiveTrail and Mailchimp and Mailerlite to send mass emails, but I also use a Gmail based service that allows me to merge Google sheets with email and send 50 or 60 emails a day from a Gmail account.
I find Gmass is highly suitable for this because it can auto send a new email to anyone else added to the Google sheet. A nice trick. It has many others too and is low cost as an extra system for email.
See more about it here. We will get an affiliate fee for our festival fund if you take it, but you pay no more than anyone else does.
A Publishing Company Name
I saw an email from a website recently talking about promoting books from publishers. But we don’t all have publishers.
If you need a name to insert in Amazon as your “publisher”, and want to use ours, let me know.
There will be a small $50 admin fee and your book will go on the website with the following strict terms:
We ask for no = zero cut on your royalties, ever.
You are responsible for the contents of your book.
All books must be on Amazon.
You must tell us in advance that you intend to do this and get permission by email from us to use the name.
You agree that this is new definition of a publishing business providing only a name and web page and no control or responsibility for the contents of your book.
This weekly email will hit your inbox each Monday. See all previous emails in this series here.
