#PublishingReinvented 110 - Only 150 Days to Christmas + Your Get Ready 5 Key Points Checklist
Is this the first mention of the 2022 Holiday Season you’ve seen?
However you celebrate, we must acknowledge that the book buying and gifting season coming up is crucial to book sales.
Look at the sales data below for recorded sales on one of our Amazon ads accounts between October and December 2021 to understand why we get excited!
Is that rising seasonal sales! Yes!
This year, I expect sales to be better.
Do not be put off by talk of recession. We are likely to experience a mild one, without banks going belly up as they have not been as foolish this time.
There will be pain, but there will also be opportunities. Selling books is one.
We all need a side hustle. An extra $500, $1,500 or $5,000 a month in the back pocket is always nice.
To help this year we integrating services more closely. Here’s something you can do:
Remove the TikTok logo on your videos with Snaptik.com and repost them on YouTube and Instagram.
And include them in emails and on your Facebook page.
Start all the engines for your book promotion and keep them running.
Here’s your short 5 point checklist to help you prepare:
Check all your social accounts and update bios or pics so they look right.
Check your bio on Author Central. Are all your books there?
Check your descriptions on Amazon. Are the hook lines at the top all sharp?
Assemble background images and quotes and reviews, to use in your social media.
Start your Amazon ads early (see our service here to get it done for you).
This is for real.
There will be plenty of money made this holiday season from books. Get your slice of the cake by preparing early.
