BooksGoSocial pros and cons
My membership of the Author’s Guild lapsed a while back, so I can’t see or respond to a hot debate in the daily AG E-Newsletter about BGS.
If you are a member you might put your oar in, one way or another. We are aware we haven’t helped everyone, but we have refunded a lot of authors who we couldn’t help. We also provide whatever extra free support we can provide.
Is it enough?
Let us know what you think and what the consensus on AG is.

One of our authors, Barry Finlay, has a book coming out about the power of resilience. We will be running a contest for stories about writers and resilience, the ones who wouldn’t give up. Watch out for details.
Barry’s book inspired us to do this.
I was reminded of the importance of resilience by the death of that wonderful singer, Tina Turner, who left her marriage with almost nothing and kept producing new solo albums, and failing, until finally one hit the jackpot.
I believe any small success I have had has also been due to perseverance—the ability not to give up in the face of rejection, failure and then more failure.
Only the persistent win. And this one is about me:
Thankfully, perseverance is a good substitute for talent." — Steve Martin.

It started with the people behind BooksGoSocial who understood my needs as a self-published author. And down through the years they have continued to improve their information and support with programs designed to help me be the best I can while continuing to write and publish my work. I have worked with other book agencies in the past, and the staff of BooksGoSocial is far superior.
Sometimes you feel you are alone, but the authors I have met in this supportive community have become good friends who are there to help when they can.
