#PublishingReinvented 131 - Improving book descriptions with AI + Proofreading Pricing Drops
Improving Book Descriptions With AI
It’s a good idea to occasionally look at our book descriptions to see if they can be improved. The first source for ideas should be similar books on Amazon.
If you’ve tried that you can also now try an AI tool to find other options. You can test this AI tool that can rewrite your Amazon book descriptions in seconds. It works scarily well: https://bit.ly/WriteSonicTest
I suggest, as with everything AI, that you edit the results.
The idea is simply for the AI to give you more ideas. One of the suggestions it usually comes up with is ramping up the adjectives and as authors are often afraid to do this for their own books, it is no bad thing to see what results when you get some “AI PR Speak” for your book.
I expect that over the top adjective training is 101 in the Book Marketing PR departments initiation routine.
It’s worth considering, right?
Proofreading Price Drops!
There are many tools available now to improve proofreading. At BooksGoSocial, we still use highly qualified human proofreaders, as they catch things that computers miss.
We are however offering a good discount on proofreading, copy editing and development reports, so if you have plans for a new book, why not ask us for a price for the editing service you want.
We need only about 10 pages or the whole Word doc to price it for you within 24hrs.
Don’t pay thousands for high quality work. You will be surprised what you can get done these days for less.
