#PublishingReinvented 13 - Purpose in Creativity + Don't miss our extras
Purpose
Having a purpose in life can add years to your life. For the science behind this see this link.
Beyond the life-giving benefits, purpose builds resilience and gives meaning to our lives. It does to mine.
Writing provides an easy way to have a purpose.
The question is, do you drive forward with your writing project with purpose, or have you set it aside?
I find the following useful as inspiration for renewing my purpose:
Reading in my genre, currently thrillers.
Wondering how to extend the genre in a new way, for me mixing fact & fiction.
Forcing myself to make time to write as near 7 days a week as I can, to keep the rhythm of the story going.
Bringing a surprise to my writing by doing something daring.
This virus will pass.
We will party again.
Purpose is within reach. Our best days are coming.
